it's been a busy week
with the exam dropping by,
moving in to new fortress
(plus the internet connection is not available yet),
and the worst part
my laptop is on some unexpected vacation
leaving without notice
or some informed consent

THE STRANGERS....

it was a peaceful evening....i was alone...with myself half mamai...half wakey...

they were two of us actually...but at that time...at that moment...i was alone...in some fast-food restaurant...revising for tomorrow's exam while listening to those huge playlist of songs on my ipod..

then somebody...i mean an arab girl...approaching me...with healthy thoughts i put on some faked-friendly-smile...maybe she wanted to make some educational survey or something...i don't care...then she settled on a bench in front me...she asked some questions as usual...like:

ismak eh? (what's your name)
enta minnin? (where are you from)
tadris eh? (what are you studying)
kam sanah? (how old are you)

etc..... and many many other cliche' questions as usual...typical arab's questions....

it went on and on..even i was started to felt bored to death with those typical questions...till that question that made me felt uncomfortable and very awkward...really....

(translated to english)...hehe i forgot what those questions sound in arabic actually....

can i have your telephone number?
yaaa...i have one...but why??
i want to contact you...
(thinking....making some confused face) nope nope...i can't sorry...

then...she introduced me to his arab friend....he's a guy...about 20's...
and that's made me even more uncomfortable and anxious...then he decided to sit just beside me...

then...he asked me the same question....very boring duh....lalalalalalala......hey man!!...came out with something fancy laahhhh...like what's your favourite colour ker...what's your favourite car ker...hehe...

and it ended on the same spot...

yup...that indonesian restaurant...Serumpun

besides it dines quite exactly the same food in malaysia, it's just beside our mara's hostel

before this..there's one here in alexandria...but it is quite far...have to take a tram co. or taxi for about 20 minutes just to have a taste of our own food...though it is more indonesian style...but it is ok...

the food is quite good...though the price is quite expensive compared to Arab's food...went to eat there with pok nik, luke and saddam last wednesday night...i had a plate of bihun goreng...fuhh...it's my first time eating bihun since i came to egypt...plus it's quite impossible to find bihun here...we always tend to replace it with spaghetti instead....

what's the best thing is..felt more like home...hehehe..
